CASE STUDY: FORDbrand-new training for a bold-new launch
The Challenge
Ford of Europe had revealed plans for their first ever All-Electric Commercial Vehicle. Exciting news, particularly since it wasn’t even available to buy yet. So how could we keep European dealers both engaged and informed about this game-changing vehicle?
The Solution
We created three animations, each focusing on a benefit of the new vehicle: Operator Efficiency, Right Tool for the Job, and Confident Performance. The films followed a typical Commercial Vehicle customer, each with different, specific needs, highlighting how their experience was enhanced by this new All-Electric vehicle. This was a new approach to training – and a challenging one. There were few assets available – none of which were European spec (because it was so new) – and we had to translate everything into 22 different languages.
The Results
But we did it. And it was an overwhelming success, with major markets (Britain, Germany and Netherlands) even sharing these animations on consumer-facing channels. Highly unusual for dealer training. Even better, it’s led to more and more video requests from the markets and dealers. Our client was delighted. It pays to be brave.
