CASE STUDY: Enterprise Mobility
HELPING STUDENTS TAKE A SEAT FOR A GLOBAL ADVENTURE
The Challenge
Enterprise Mobility™ is a global $35bn business. While you probably know them for their car rental brands, they’re on an exciting mission to become the world’s best and most trusted mobility company. Graduate Management Trainees are their lifeblood (even their CEO started off her career as an MT!). So being seen as an exciting, reputable employer by the student population is a big deal.
The Times Top 100 list of Graduate Employers is one of the biggest indicators of reputation and desirability, so naturally they wanted to achieve a high position. Because they’d just had a rebrand, awareness was low. Way lower than it should have been. Number 97. So they needed an event that would create a big ‘Enterprise Mobility’ splash on campus, and give students every reason to apply.

The Solution
Enterprise Mobility™ have a really fun culture, full of great personalities and regular social events. So we opted for a colourful, noisy, glittering event called ‘Take a Seat’. Taking centre stage was a fabulous chair, plus a quiz with surprising, playful questions set to a timer, to ramp up the energy. A leaderboard sparked some friendly rivalry between unis and there were amazing prizes to win – everything from cinema and pizza vouchers to tote bags plus a £250 food delivery voucher if they checked out a dedicated microsite.
For the recruiters on the stand, it was a dream early selection process. The students who volunteered to ‘Take a Seat’ were exactly the kind of people they were after. Energetic, ‘up for anything’, quick learners. The event delivered fun and recruitment potential in equal measure – and the university with the most students taking part won the chair itself!

The Results
The event was a huge success, it helped Enterprise Mobility’s attraction figures soar up and down the country. We had an incredible 2,111 participants across 12 Russell Group universities, an estimated 20,000 brand views and 277,242 impressions across social.
The winning university was Leeds, so the fabulous chair now sits proudly in their student union. (Also a constant reminder that Enterprise Mobility™ is a top choice as a graduate employer!) But the main goal? Big tick. They jumped 39 places in the Times Top 100 List shooting up from 97 to 59!
